Starting with something decent about the movie, I thought the acting was not too bad for the most part.
The script and the screenplay overall were terrible. Everything about the movie felt rushed, the dialogues, the scenes, the cuts. The conversation in the pool for example contains 29 cuts in more or less a minute of time.
The characters are given very little to no time to develop and the plot in general just rolls out so shallowly it makes it almost impossible to feel with the characters.
Relationships between characters are so incredibly week and are just being developed at light speed, aided by an onslaught of cuts in every scene. For example it is almost crongy to hear Viktor say to his daughter on tape "I miss your smile" after the two were literally not given one second of screentime together. He was never even shown holding her once and now he misses her smile? How are viewers supposed to engage with that or feel for that?
Overall a very disappointing movie. Feel sorry for the actors since they were the only decent part about it.

Very bad directing, horrible one dimensional characters and poor acting. The story is as thin as a single sheet of paper. It was actually tough to watch till the end. What is the point of this misfire? Poor cousin of much better American movies. One can almost point to sources scene by scene. For anybody remotely familiar with reslities of modern Germany painful to watch. This movie is NOT trying to be Wolf of Wallstreet. Its great to watch, even if I did not like the montages.
